Quick clarification for those asking: 

• I’m not on the August ballot. 
• My race for Volusia County Council District 5 is in November. 
• What’s happening NOW is important for our county’s future, and I wanted to share these numbers with you.

Here’s the Volusia snapshot:

Voters have already returned 22,400 vote-by-mail ballots—9,356 Republicans, 8,417 Democrats, 4,096 with no party affiliation, and 569 from minor parties. That’s tremendous momentum!

But here’s what excites me most: 41,155 ballots are still out there waiting to come back. That’s 16,670 Democrats, 14,765 Republicans, 8,499 no-party voters, and 1,221 minor-party voters who requested ballots but haven’t returned them yet. The race is wide open. Every single ballot matters.

This is OUR chance to decide what Volusia looks like going forward—transparent government, real flood solutions, and putting residents over developers.
