Food Insecurities

 

I have to be honest with you — new polling out of Florida is deeply troubling, and it hits close to home for so many families right here in Deltona, DeBary, and across all of Volusia County.

4 out of 5 Floridians are struggling to afford groceries. Nearly half are choosing between buying food and paying for gas or transportation.

More than a third are deciding between keeping a roof over their heads or feeding their family.

This is not okay. I am committed to fighting for the families in Deltona, DeBary, and all the residents of Volusia County who are living paycheck to paycheck and running out of options.

Our children should never go hungry. Our families deserve better — and I will never stop pushing for solutions that put people first.
