Let me address his claims directly:

His donor list is a matter of public record — available to any citizen at dos.myflorida.com. Using public records is not fraud. It is transparency.

He confirmed his donors are his “personal friends.” We agree. Florida’s Insurance Lobbyist of the Year, a managing partner at one of Florida’s most powerful lobbying firms, and a Sunrise Consulting lobbyist are his personal friends. Volusia County residents are not on that list.
